It's almost October and that means spirit week and Homecoming!
If you are interested in playing Powder Puff, being a cheerleader, or running for Homecoming Court check out the link in your email. Also if you want your commemorative powderpuff shirt you only have until Sunday to get one!
If you are interested in running for homecoming court, you can start campaigning starting 10/2. Voting will take place on 10/11 with winners announced at the powderpuff game.
If you are interested in attending the HS dance on Saturday night, 7-10, or the MS dance Friday night, 7-9, you must have signed a dance contract prior to buying tickets. Contracts can be picked up from a student government representative during power hour, from Mr. Boze or from the front office starting September 18th. Tickets will be on sale starting Monday the 2nd for $20. Tickets purchased after 10/8 will be $25 and at the door will be $30.

~ This Friday is "Force Friday" wear your favorite star wars or other sci-fi shirts this Friday.
~ All Beta members need to grab your lunch and come to the Media Center the first half of Power Hour.
~ 11th and 12th graders; if you are interested in attending SAT test prep sessions please let Mrs. Hodges know as soon as possible. The dates are September 21st, 28th and October 5th from 6pm to 9pm.
~Morning cup of coffee in the Media Center for 2$.
Breakfast - Just a reminder. Before you place the boxes outside to be collected, please empty them completely. There needs to be no food, juice or milk left inside the container. Please put the folder and box outside your door by 9:20.

QIR Student Government hosted school board member Phil Leary today. They talked about what it means to be an elected representative and the importance of communication skills. As a token of appreciation club sponsor Ian Boze presented Mr. Leary with a knights pin.
