Math Teachers Ian Boze, Michele Knowles, Tiffany Spencer, and Angelina Wilson have committed to growing their teaching practice as part of Impact Florida's ongoing “Solving with Students” Cadre.
Impact Florida is an organization whose mission is to empower education leaders to recognize, support, and scale great teaching practices so that all students can achieve success. Impact Florida has worked with the Putnam County Schools at a district level, but our math teachers were part of Impact Florida’s first “Solving with Students Cadre.”
This past weekend, Tiffany Spencer and Ian Boze had the opportunity to present their work at a conference by Impact Florida. Their presentation focused on the use of informal and formal data chats as ways for students to reflect on learning.
